Polarized lenses provide 100% UV protection. They are dark (tinted) and remove about 90% of glare from the sun allowing you to see more than without the Polarization.
Polarized lenses have a special filter that blocks this type of intense reflected light, reducing glare and discomfort.
Polarized lenses help when it comes to decreasing eye strain and discomfort in bright sunlight.
However, it is important to keep in mind that boaters and pilots may experience problems when viewing LCD displays on instrument panels.
About our optional anti-reflective coating:
The anti-reflective coating reduces the light reflected on the reverse surface of the sunglass lens. Otherwise, the light bounces back into your eyes and may disrupt your vision.
With an AR coating on the back of the sunglass lens, you enjoy extra comfort and clarity thanks to the reduction of blur and annoying reflected images on the reverse side of the lens.
eClips recommends purchasing from your local optical retailer. However, if you would prefer to order directly, we do provide that service.
The manufacturing process is very straight forward. We do require your frame with current lenses.
Here's how it goes:
You select the chassis and lens you desire and complete your order.
You will send your eyewear to eClips using the your preferred shipping method and packaging materials. For added safety we do recommend sending your glasses in their case.
Once we have received your eyewear and it has gone through a detailed inspection. We create your personal custom clip-ons, package everything securely and ship it back to the address you provided. (If any defects, scratches or blemishes are found during our initial quality inspection of your eyewear, someone from our Customer Service team will contact you.
